The Latest Patio Bar Set

Your Patio Bar Set Is Not Complete Without This

If you are a veteran of hosting backyard parties or are looking for something to help push your porch over the top, a patio bar set could be just the ticket to a great summer.  You should consider several things when searching for a bar set; the furniture material is important depending on price and utility, while the arraignment of your patio or backyard may dictate certain sizes or functions.  A quality set, however, can greatly expand the sphere of your home for parties, bringing together people in the open backyard to relax and enjoy the weather.

Of course, everyone's backyard has a different design.  Take careful note of the space, slope, and flow (if any) of your current outdoors fixtures and consider how you want to arrange the look.  Is it important to have plenty of chairs for mass guests, or do you only need one bar set for all your friends?  Will this cover a large number of parties?  Decide on size and quantity, and then move on to color and material.

An outdoor bar set comes with three different pieces of furniture; a party bar holding the food or drinks, a bar table for lounging, and enough seats or stools or chairs to comfortably fit everyone.  The bar itself can be different sizes or shapes; rectangular and long or small circular or an L shape.  The larger designs, naturally, can fit more people.  The tables are similar, as standing only tables or tables large enough to fit everyone's food and drinks sitting down.  Chairs are a matter of personal comfort and quantity, but you can also pick designs of swivel chairs, folding chairs, or high backed padded eats.

You can find a bar set in several types of materials and colors; wood is a popular and cheap choice with an intricate look, but must be maintained and covered in the case of weather, as rain will warp the table or chair.  Cast or wrought iron are stronger and more durable, but must be repainted every several years.  Wicker has the least strength but requires practically no upkeep.

There are countless models on the market, all running the range of relatively inexpensive -- one to two hundred dollars -- to extraordinarily intricate and very expensive at upwards of five thousand dollars.  Of the cheaper options, most come in tasteful wood designs, are lightweight, and can comfortably seat and serve three to four people.  A Sears three piece set costs only two hundred and fifty dollars but only includes two chairs and a table; this model is naturally only practical for small uses, but customers seem to reply positively to the simple color and easy set up.  Similarly, a wicker set from Target is not as expensive as a metal set at only four hundred fifty dollars and features four stools and a central table.  Though the wicker gives a natural look and feel, these stools are known to bend if carrying more than two hundred pounds of weight and have no back, so some guests may not be comfortable sitting for extended periods of time.

As the options rise in price, the satisfaction seems to rise as well.  A patio bar set from Treillage Furniture may not be a wallet friendly option at thirteen hundred dollars, but gives oversize seating with thick cushions on strong double sided aluminum, adding strength without weight.  A dark chocolate colored finish not only is stylish and meshes well with any color patio or house, but also has ultraviolet resistant coating to protect against sun damage and peeling.  Customers have responded strongly to this product as the pieces are designed so that they can be left outdoors in the elements, and neither rain nor shine will fray the fabric or make the paint fade.  Most agree that the ornate designs of stools and chairs give an air of style that cannot be duplicated in cheaper models.

If price is of no concern, check out the patio set from Alfresco Vento for a "mere" five thousand dollars.  With a wicker frame and aluminum coating, the furniture is ultra light but endures all weather; a granite prep counter is the ultimate in style and utility; the bar feature contains electric plugs to power a mini bar or wine cooler.  While customers unanimously agree this is the best model on the market, all agree that a five thousand dollar price tag means this should only be purchased by the most serious of all party enthusiasts.
